Voltaic Systems

Voltaic Systems, the innovators behind the original solar backpack, announced the introduction of a new laptop bag which generates enough solar power to charge laptops. Laptop users will now be able to unplug from the power grid and power up from the sun. Voltaic expects to be shipping Spring ‘08.

Super Green Boards

Super Green Boards is a US based company which specialises in designing and producing ‘green skateboards’ for the eco-concious skater. The boards are made out of Bamboo rather than Maple (which grows a lot more quickly than Maple) and a ‘very low volatile organic compound epoxy’ is used to laminate the boards.
