“Big business will be asked to reduce their carbon footprint by investing in Preston’s parks. Parks charity Greenspace has chosen the city to launch Park It In Neutral, a research project which aims to reduce carbon emissions and tackle climate change.
It is essentially a carbon trading scheme where businesses and individuals can potentially off-set their own carbon emissions by investing in park and green space projects.
