Airline passengers and carbon offsetting

The International Herald Tribune reports that low numbers of passengers using Eindhoven Airport, the largest regional airport, are signing up to a scheme which offsets the carbon emission generated by their flights.    Approximately 530 people month (0.5% of passengers) are signing up to the scheme.
