Smoke and mirrors - carbon offsetting

The Times, in January 2007, reported that only four out of the 59 carbon offsetting schemes available to tourists who want to offset the emissions of their flights met the Government’s standards for offsetting projects!
The four schemes which met the standards include:
PURE the Clean Planet Trust
Global Cool
Equiclimate
Carbon Offsets Limited
