Green Tomato Cars

,Part of the wider ‘travel industry’ Green Tomato Cars provide an environmentally friendly mini cab service in London. They are using Toyota Priuses and they hope to increase the size of their fleet too 100 cars by 2008. Alongside using Toyota Priuses they also offset double the amount of their carbon emissions!

Visit Scotland Carbon Neutral Tourism

VisitScotland’s Chairman Peter Lederer has called for Scotland’s tourism businesses to become the carbon neutral – potentially creating the world’s first carbon neutral destination.
VisitScotland’s Green Tourism Business Scheme which promotes the benefits of tourism businesses adopting a green approach to business has some 420 members.
